NIDO is committed to the sponsorship and/or promotion of the language through such things as:

academic scholarships, formal Italian Language classes; lectures on Italian literature, art, or history;

discussion groups that foster conversational Italian. 

 

To this end NIDO has a Scholarship and Grants Committee.  This committee shall recommend to the Executive Board candidates for NIDO financial awards.  Candidates can be outstanding schools,  institutions, and/or students

 that further the knowledge of Italian culture.
